Feed screw Line Merge / Combiner The Startec line merge unit overcomes one of the problems faced on mixed capacity production lines. For example where increased production requires two filling lines to be used for the same product but, the outputs are to go through a single packaging machine. The Combiner can be designed to handle rectangular and round bottles however, we would require samples and drawings to confirm the suitability of this unit for your products. Utilising counter rotating screws the combiner can be used to merge 2 lanes of product into one. This unit can be retro fitted to existing conveyors and has variable speed drive. The drive linkage can be either over the top as shown or underneath. As with any screw drive the unit also has the added bonus of being able to regulate or stop start the product flow.
